Kit includes the Pump In Style Advanced Breastpump that fits securely in the stylish black microfiber shoulder bag. The Natural Expression pumping is designed for faster milk flow and feels more like your baby than any other pump. The customized pumping with adjustable speed and vacuum control lets you pump at a comfortable pace.Editorial Review
The most important difference between the Medela Pump in Style Advanced model and the Original is that the Advanced pump includes a pretty remarkable feature that actually mimics a baby’s nursing rhythm by pumping in two distinct modes: let-down and expression. In the first few moments of nursing, babies initiate faster milk flow by suckling rapidly. After the flow is established, baby switches to slower, deeper suckling for maximum milk flow in less time. The “Natural Expression” system simulates this two-stage pattern for a highly efficient, effective pumping experience. In other ways the pump is similar to the also first-rate Original: a stylish and professional looking black shoulder bag houses the pump with adjustable speed and vacuum control, along with battery pack, AC adapter, four bottles with lids, bottle stands, “PersonalFit” breastshields, removable cooler carrier with ice packs, bottle holder, extra storage pockets, and a built-in picture frame for a photo of your pride and joy. The advanced model also includes CSF breastmilk bags, a padded carrier case for the battery pack, and a removable motor bag. –Emilie Coulter

I was so worried about opening this product because of the no return issue….well, I had right to worry! I spoke with several lactation consultants who swore up and down by medelas name, and I paid the price dearly. Do not use to establish milk supply because it won’t work…no matter what any lactation consultant tells you!

I bought a brand new, besides the big noise, it just worked 1 day, and I saw the smoke out the motor

So far I haven’t used the item because the baby isn’t due until January, but there was such a good sale I bought it in advance. I used the original Medela with my first child and loved it. This one arrived on time, and everything seems to be in working order, though I guess I won’t know for sure until I actually get to use it!

I don’t know if anyone can help me but I’m having a hard time trying to decide which pump to get, this pump has great reviews but I can’t find any on the other pump I was looking at, Ameda Purely Yours Breastpump w/ backpack. I’ve found BOTH these pumps for $229.95 on another website that also has FREE SHIPPING. The Ameda pump is supposedely FDA approved and the MEDELA is not, but the Ameda pump does NOT have the let down button like the MEDELA (which I’m not sure how important that really is since this is my first child and I’ve never breastfed or used a breast pump before. The Ameda also has this device to prevent milk from going back in the tubing and messing up the pump-how effective these things work I have no clue. Any help on this would greatly be appreciated!!!

I was looking for a breast pump to take back to work with me and compared many styles and brands. I decided to buy this brand and have been very happy with it. (…)
